The keep and its curtain wall

  The short side of the triangle is closed off by the keep or donjon, which, although in the state of remains on the ground, was raised slightly in around 1950, as was the surrounding curtain wall. Removal of the filling material on the approaches will make the area more discernible.
Also, night lighting and the introduction of a contemporary sculpture forming a comb will help to evoke the missing mass of the keep and close off the triangular central space.
